A female caller to our home was answered by my spouse; the caller offered no details but was seeking a person with our last name. She was advised the person they seek does not reside in our home and to please remove our phone number from their database. A male caller shortly thereafter within minutes placed a call to our number. He strongly suggested that my spouse knew the individual his company was seeking because they had Googled his identity and that they would continue making calls to our number; clearly indicating their intent to make annoying and harassing calls.
My spouse kindly advised them we are not the party that they are seeking and asked them to stop the intimidating and harassing calls. The caller replied that indeed the our number would not be removed and that we would be target of continued calls.
The next call from this number will be advised to them that the call is being recorded for conveyance to FCC and to law enforcement officials for making unsolicited calls after they have been asked to stop the calls. Continuation of such behavior is harassing and considered harmful to our health.
