Ordinarily I don't answer calls from phone numbers I don't recognize, but this call awakened me and I picked up the phone.
The male spoke with a distinct accent, possibly Hispanic, and had personal information (knew that I have been working with the VA and have insurance associated with the military - he named it - and had my name and address.) He asked personal health information and when I told him I didn't know why he was asking such questions as I am not the veteran he disconnected the call. When I tried to call back to get a name the phone rang twice and disconnected. From another google source I obtained the name, street and city this phone number is associated with and will report it to the Do Not Call Registry - for what it's worth. The caller did not identify himself but only said he was working with the VA and named the military insurance.
I RECEIVED A CALL FROM THIS NUMBER 1-724-382-0170, SOUNDED HISPANIC OR INDIAN (INDIA) I BELIEVE HE SAID HIS NAME, BUT I DID NOT CATCH IT AND HE WAS TALKING FAST AND I FOUND IT HARD TO UNDERSTAND WHAT HE SAID, SO I ASKED HIM HIS NAME AND NAME OF HIS COMPANY, HE WOULD ONLY SAY THAT HIS COMPANY "WORKS WITH THE VA AND TRICARE TO SCREEN THE RECORDS AND CONTACTS PATIENTS ABOUT BENEFITS" AND HE KEPT ASKING ME QUESTIONS , ONE QUESTION COMES TO MIND IS DO I HAVE SCARS AND THAT THERE IS A CREAM I CUT HIM OFF REPEATEDLY TRYING TO GET INFORMATION ON HIS COMPANY AND A GOOD PHONE NUMBER TO CALL HIS COMPANY HE WOULD NOT COOPERATE BUT INSISTED ON ASKING ME QUESTIONS. I WOULD NOT ANSWER HIM . I COULD NOT GET ANYWHERE SO I HUNG UP ! I CALLED THE NUMBER BACK AND ITS ALWAYS BUSY.
I keep getting calls from 724 382 0170 in Irwin pa and this Hispanic tells me he is with high mark insurance and wants info from my husband.... I screamed at him to stop calling
