Received a call and message from this number. The message said to call back at their "department number," which was the same number on the caller id. No reason was given. Googled the number and posters on another reverse phone call lookup site stated the call is an IRS scam in which the caller claims to be the IRS and that they are going to sue you.
These people are calling as early as 5:15 in the morning. Caller ID says Cell Phone and the number. A recording of a woman's voice says "We have been trying to reach you...." and they attempt to make you think they are the IRS who is now suing you. They call repeatedly from this number, but this morning, at before 7 we got the same call, same voice from 727-483-1735. What's irritating about this one is the number of times they call and the hours, they have no boundaries.
said the IRS had filed a lawsuit against me in their voicemail on my cell & to call them back. filed a report about this phone number to the US Treasury IRS scam reporting website (treasury.gov/tigta) & the FTC complaint assistant for people impersonating a govt office (ftccomplaintassistant.gov). received same voice mail but from a different phone number on my cell today.
