Honest telemarketers honor the DoNotCall Registry; abusive telemarketers and scammers do not. got a call from this number said its a company marketing for adt and security networks offered me a free alarm for putting a sign in my yard. seemed like a scam. they said they have a installer come to my house and since they didnt ask foir any personal info i said ok an let them put it in. i have no problems so far does anyone else have any info on this company?
Saw this # on our caller ID, called back, the person acted like they were drunk or high with slurred speech. We finally figured out he was asking if they could put a sign in our yard, we said we already have a security system with signs and would you please take us off your call list, he said he could, but, blah, blah, blah and something about being under contract, I said no, but will you please take us off your call, more blah, blah, blah, a 3rd time asked to take us off, then he started to say something else about a contract, I hung up.
What part of being on a do not call list do these people NOT understand? We just got another call from them and the guy was SO rude. I called back and asked for a supervisor and she was nice or at least pretended to be. She said she would take us off of their call list; my question was if we're on the list why/how do you call?
