Honest telemarketers honor the DoNotCall Registry; abusive telemarketers and scammers do not. Telemarketers are required to maintain an internal DoNotCall list so you must say "Put me on your DoNotCall list" and not "Take me off your calling list." but abusive telemarketers and scammers will keep calling anyway.
Wtf....I got a call from 727-697-7870, some guy claiming to be "from The Pharmacy", said my "insurance company wants to send me out some free pain cream" and asks if I have pain and "just needs to verify my address". NICE TRY, SCAMMER! I said "Who? What?" And the call from this "Unavailable" number was magically disconnected. If this weren't horrifying, it would be totally funny.
Called from BioHealth to send me a free "pain medication" and wanted to verify some info. I've reported them to the complaints.donotcall.gov and you should too! I've asked them to remove my number as this is about the 3rd time they have called int he last week!
