If you don't want to be bothered by annoying telemarketers then it will be up to YOU to block them and stop them. No Brighthouse/Soectrum will do it for you, dear. Yeah, it is ridiculous but they don' t care about you anymore than these telescammers do. ):
The number called me today, you could clearly hear it was some kind of call center. When I stated our business name and asked how I may help them, they hung up on me. When calling it back, it says the number is disconnected and not in service. However that doesn't even sound like the normal phone company's disconnect notice! And the ringing sound sounds funny. Very shady! I am blocking it for the reasons I spelled out.
Called when I was asleep. Did not leave message I called back. Recd message that Phone number is either disconnected or no longer on service. If these are computer generated calls why can't my Brighthouse/Soectrum service detect the bogus phone number and prevent these calls from being placed to annoy people. Make them accountable to provide more information before they place the call. This is ridiculous
