1/12/'15 received text message from "

stating: "[alphabet soup text garble]_SECURITY ISSUE APPEARED_Contact us at...[phone number this post is for]
..._Deliverer-Bank OF America_DO NOT DISREGARD ![more text garble]"
I've received oddball text messages like this about once every two/three years, and usually?
I simply "DISREGARD" them to no other consequence other than being petulantly distracted + another txt-msg to delete.
Tried looking up this web-site "DWNE.com", it's identified as a site for "Ditch Witch" heavy construction equipment manufacturer but the site itself is now apparently advertising ... rescued dogs for adoption? among other sundry solicitation links. Yeah, all appears quite reputable of some news-worthy notoriety, does it not?
Meantime, I've NEVER had any accounts with Bank of America... and I'm reasonably certain THIS wasn't from them. & whoever it was apparently didn't find it important enough to contact me with so much as a proper phone call. If YOUR BANK is attempting to contact you regarding any purported "SECURITY ISSUE" they WILL either CALL, or notify you by post or e-mail ... if not all 3; and they absolutely wouldn't bother texting such an important message to you UNLESS you've requested (/'opted in' for) such notifications.
= did not call, message deleted;
probably an attempt at financial account-hacking/highjacking or identity theft
