This company claimed to be an auto insurance quote agency representing several big name insurance companies. However when I started asking questions they hung up on me. After a barage of calling back only to be hung up on I gave up. If you ask them the name of their company they will hang up on you. You should do it. It's much more fun than avoiding the call. They said they took my name off their list but they never should have had it to begin with since I'm on the do not call list. Try asking them who sold them your info. They don't like that question either. Doubt I'll hear from them again.
Caller did not leave a voicemail it registered as a missed call since I didn't answer it on 8/7/13 at 1:16pm EST. I called it back, got a hispanic recording then an english recording stating that "Hi This is Mary auto insurance companies like StateFarm, NationWide and Farmers are competing for your business because auto rates just went down this week, press 1 for blah blah this/that. etc." I hung up immediately. Not sure how they got my number. But I have worked for AT&T for over 10 years and have provided this number to friends and relatives only.
