Called , never answered. Called right back. I lost it and went berserk screamed cursed and hung up. Called back and cursed me. How do we get these guys and put them away?
This number called our business phone today at 1631 hours. Caller ID showed it as "unassigned." I immediately recognized it as either a scammer or a spammer. Either way, I wasn't interested and didn't bother picking up the phone. Based on the comments here, I'm glad I didn't waste my breath or time.
just received a call from this number claiming to be from Microsoft tech support, Usual BS my computer was infected with malware viruses and needed to be taken care of right away. So, here I am playing along with this guy with an Indian accent. So, I ask how did you determine it was my computer that was infected? He says via my IP address. So I ask how he was able to link my IP address to a phone number since there is no way that can happen. The next thing I hear in the background was some cursing and busted. The guy hung up.
