Some schmuck named 'Marcus' claiming to be from 'NRG'... I knew it was a scam, and let him drone on until I disconnected him right in the middle of one of his blabbering conversation sentences.

Excellent info.  These pos's keep calling me too.  I just pick up the phone and hang up on them.  Thx!

Caller ID said "unknown caller" so I didn't pick up this scam call.  Like a previous posting, I've often thought of giving all bogus info (fake names, bank name, credit card #) and let them waste their time going crazy trying to use it.

If you want to give them fake but working credit card numbers go to this website and use one of the numbers generated to test transaction equipment.

Live person calling for "Mr or Mrs ____".  Said he was calling from NRG, apparently in an attempt to solicit for their services.  Caller ID read UNKNOWN NAME.
