A customer of mine is recieving phone calls from this company, multiple calls. I have had to call them as well, and listened to a manager load the phone rep's lips after I asked to speak with a manager. Absolute scam.
I called back because they called and didn't leave a message. When I said I wasn't interested in their service (post-factory warranty auto warranty, which are effectively useless...I've had 'em before and NEVER again) and asked them to remove me from their call list, the person who answered the phone started grilling me (in a very nasty voice): "Do you even understand the thousands of dollars you'll need to spend to fix your car if something happens? Do you?" I replied "I am asking you to stop calling me," and she hung up. She was pretty much the rudest person I've spoken to in the past six months.
They have been calling EVERY DAY and since I recently moved from Washtenaw (and had worked in Southern Wayne) where this area code is from I got nervous that maybe it was actually someone trying to reach me. I called back today and the man said he was from National Safe Something and the Warranty Division. I asked "Warranty Division of where?" and he said "Ford". I do have a ford with an extended warranty that is almost up but something just didn't feel right so I let him know I'm actually selling my truck and getting a new one. He was VERY polite and wished me well. Will the calls stop? Probably not...
