Received a text from Unknown "CO-OP Services CU Alert: Your CARD has been DEACTIVATED. Please contact us at 734-736-4010 to REACTIVATE your CARD." Very shoddy electronic voice asked me to type in my 16 digit card number. Found out from my credit union that this is indeed a scam. YOU WILL BE SCAMMED IF YOU GIVE THEM BOTH YOUR CARD NUMBER AND SECURITY CODE. No professional Credit Union should ever have to ask you for your card number and security code, they should already know it!!!! Co-op is a true service, but I knew for a fact that this is not how they should contact you. Plus I was employed at my CU when we switched to Star network, so I knew something was up.
