Starting receiving calls today-2 within 2 hours and decided to look the number up on reverese phone directory. It said it was out of cambridge ohio but listed as a private /unavailable number. I called back and got a answering machine and decided to leave a message not to call me again...we'll see
I have continued to recieve at least 3 or 4 calls a day from this number, so I finally decided to call the number back...which I did just a few minutes ago. A woman answered, looked up my number and said that I'd entered to win an SUV and that they were contacting me because I was chosen as a semi-finalist and they needed to verify my information. I don't know how they got my number, but I did tell her that I didn't want to receive any other calls from her company. She said that I would be taken off of their contact list and was suprisingly friendly about it. Hopefully I will not receive any additional annoyances from this company.
I have gotten 9 phone calls today, I got 5 of these in 30 seconds. I called back and when I asked the company's name because the lady was talking so fast, she refused and said "YOU ARE CALLING ME, WHO ARE YOU", I hung on her after that, with working with a title company and answering the phones myself for our mortgage clients, if a person asks what the companies name is I will let them know however many times they ask! There has to be a law out there somewhere where this is illegal, it is almost to the point of harrassment. I understand that this is his/her job, but you really don't have to be rude about it, you picked the job to do what you are doing, we didn't!
Recieved call I am a semi finalist to win 2 cars or $25000. I also get my choice of two other prizes. The woman was funny, and she give me her number I can call her again. I will wait to see if she calls again!
