I work in the auto repo business and what she told you is against the law. Trust me on this, record your conversation and then hire a lawyer. Also file a police report. No one can report your car stolen and you won't lose your license. Those are scare tactics and manipulations to trick you into surrendering.
She don't get paid unless you give it up. Period. This is why these illegal tactics are used. Repo companies must abide by the FDCPA because they are enforcing a security interest.
Get her on recording saying that to you and you have a nice lawsuit.
This person banged on my door in a Sunday night requesting for someone that does not live at my property, we don't even know the person. It was really weird and this women appear to be sketchy.
