They called for my father; said to call for a Ms. Conner. I looked it up here, online and found out they're a collection agency in NN, VA with no official website. We tried both a number she gave us (757) 873-3662 (I think) and (757) 873-3332. Neither are functional from multiple phone lines.
Apparently they are trying to collect from my husband's bankrupt company. If they had any brains, they would have checked it out and seen that he and the company declared bankruptcy. They'd do better if they did their homework. I guess there is no communication between them and the company they are collecting for since the company would have received the bankruptcy papers. Perhaps next time they'll consider calling the lawyer who handled the bankruptcy. I'm sure he would set them staight.
Called today at my home and at my work (a big no no because I am a school teacher)saying I needed to call April West back on a personal business matter. If it is so important, they need to tell me what they need. Or if I owe money - SEND A BILL!
