Yes, same as most. Entered a "drawing" at a pet expo that made zero mention about a time share. Found the old ticket stub in my wallet and checked... hey I am a winner.... just have to call to get the prize. Then found the sad truth, just another scam sales pitch. I won the right to have something pan handled to me... no thanks.
Said we won 2 nights and 3 days in Vacation Village in the Berksires Ma,it would be 2 bedrooms, kitchen, enough to accomdate 4 adults and 2 children, the resort had indoor swimming pool, hot tub, fitness room and game room. Told us we had 2 choices to either book our vacation now or to book a day to do a 90min. tour and we would recieve $125.00 and book our vacation in a year. What a scam we took ther tour which was a time share not of where we would be staying. The hotel we were going to stay at was a ne bedroom, with a pull out sofa and a kitenette if you call it that. What a scam
The Massanuten resort is beautiful! My kids love it there because of the indoor/outdoor waterpark!
I've been to the Williamsburg resort as well, the hotel could've been a little nicer but for $75.00 that you get back! You can't complain!!
Scamming would be the fact that we just get your # out the phone book, talk to just 1 of you on the line so you have nobody on your side to verify what we said, took you money and your credit card # and you still didn't get the vacations, or the money back!! It's not what we tell ourselves to sleep at night, it's the truth!! Also if you would read what your filling out, and pay attention to us when we're on the phone w/you, all you people writing bad things about us, wouldn't be so angry.
