I believe this is a robo-call that is searching for your name. If your answering machine picks up the beep it will trigger a recording at their end. If your voicemail says "Hi, this is John/Jane Doe please leave a message" they have your name and phone number now. Gives them more information for calling you back from a different number saying "Hi, can I speak to John Doe please?"...
Rude enough to call twice in order to defeat the iPhone's "do not disturb" setting. Blocked, as I do with all nuisance calls that interrupt patient care.
This number called July 16, 2016 at 3:06 pm. The name above on the caller ID said "VIRGINIA". I did not answer yet a weird tone as of a fax machine was left on voicemail. I'm adding about this number calling as the last reported call was in November of last year (2015) and I wanted to let it be known that this number seems to be at it again of calling phone numbers.
