First off, I'm so grateful for this site. I received a call from 760-284-0200 in a voice similar to that usedby the now famous Annonymous character. It instructed me to avoid criminal prosecution by calling another number. Interestingly, it mentioned that this was a tax evasion issue that the Department of the Treasury was investigating. That told me all I needed to know. The IRS will mail you a complaint which will be investigated locally in your state. God bless each of you for exposing this scam and I hope this miscreants are brought to justice.

Exactly the same story. This low level bottom feeding worthless idiot is scamming unsuspecting people for 7 years!! And never even traced or arrested. This worthless [***] idiot/idiots should be arrested, killed and their body parts fed to hungry hyenas. They also call from different numbers, and have the audacity to even leave voice message to call them back with a specific number. Tell me why and how FBI has not terminated the scam of these hyenas?? How hard it is for FBI or FTC or law enforcement to zero in on these stinking idiots with various phone numbers being used?? Its not hard, but no one is taking action. For some people it is possible that they might have applied for a personal or business loan in the past. Either those irresponsible Business loan providing companies, who want all your bloody details to qualify for a loan, have compromised your information, or even sold your informtation to others. Not surprisingly once you apply for a loan, you will see many solicitations all of a sudden coming from every Tom, Dick and Harry Loan companies. Beware! Tell all your family members!

every one be aware this is a lie from the start. do not answer your cell or your home number if you do not readily recognize the number. Do not answer the phone/cell if the number is being blocked from you see where the call is come from. Once you answer the line, you are telling their system their is a human is on the other line. It records your number is active. If you answer the call, DO NOT BELIEVE ANYTHING THEY SAY! They can be VERY scary. They even drop names of your family and friends. DO NOT OVER THINK IT! Just ask up, and BLOCK the phone from your phones. I got this same number 760-284-0200 to call my call, and threaten me to take me to court over some tax bull. It not matter I HAVE no "tax issues". It not matter that I WELL KNOW WELL that if one have problem with the IRS, The IRS is NOT shy about call you and dropping the information. They are simply looking for people unaware in the "way of the crooks". For you your know you could to talking a crook, to a money raiser for a terrorist group. Think about it (AFTER you hung the phone).
subject called and said he was an IRS officer badge 2565 and he would conviene a gruand jury and to call back.. said fraud vs us gov.
no record of such a badge and person at IRS. also he used email address. so someone is getting name and phone plus email. reported
against federal law to impersonate an officer hope they get him , they are tracking the call .
