I answered on the first ring... dead silence on the other end. Hit re-dial and the automated voice said "Please wait while we transfer your call." Then a busy signal.
The party, Warranty Service, has called me every day for over a month, even on Sunday, but when I answer the line is quiet and then cuts off. The first time they called over a month ago I answered and they tried to sell me an extension on an auto I do not own anymore. They insisted they could get me a real deal to cover for the next 100K miles, but I don't own the vehicle. I then got angry and told them not to call my number. Since then I have been getting harassing calls every day. I reported them to the Federal Trade Commission but have not heard back.
