This sounds fishy. You didn't know you had a past due bill from Tricity? I am disputing a bill from Tricity now with my insurance, they double billed me and my insurance refused to pay it. I think you should have looked into that further before paying it. And no way are those people pleasant. I tried to tell them this was being sorted with the Hospital and Insurance and they keep calling me non-stop. Also, the amount that they claim is owed is almost twice as much as the bill. Valerie is rude as hell. I would never pay bill collector and I would the original debt at the source.
I just got a call from John Thomas at the number (760) 722-2156 and apparently I had a past due bill to tri city hosptial. I had no idea i had this bill but it was from 6 months ago and so i payed it right away and everything was okay. He is not a scam but a really nice guy and plesant to work with.
So let me get this straight, you got a call for a bill you didn't know about and yet you didn't question it or call the actual hospital to verify it and got nothing in the mail from the hospital all this time..
Nice try shill! But hello.. No one forgets a hospital bill in 6 month's, no one forgets to send you a bill for it either.. and no one should ever except a a mere phone call (as is not legal proof - neither is email or fax) as fact without verifying said bill in writing from the company it is supposedly for from the company claiming (3rd party) such things!
I'm sure he's a really nice guy to work with when you're sitting at the desk right next to him. Or maybe you ARE him. Either way, you're outed as a pathetic, low life shill.
Six months after a hospital stay, and the bill goes to a loser, third way collector?
Doesn’t work that way, even at 120 days.
At least, it better not, unless your uninsured, and went in for some weird sex change operation or something.
