Posted ad on Craigslist for 8GB iPhone 4. After buyer asks "What is the present condition and final price?" (which I clearly addressed in the original ad), next text said "okay i will be offering you $500 for it including shipping fees". After asking only $300, I thought, that's weird? Red flag #1. Then after I ask what payment method they suggest, I receive response with a shipping address and asking if I have a PayPal account. Shipping address is in Nigeria. Red flag #2. Each response is spaced out by several hours. Red flag # 3. And finally after pushing aside the excitement of making an extra $200, logic and my conscience kicked in, so I searched the 23401 Nigerian zip code, and immediately saw several responses for SCAMS. Red flag #4. Searched the phone number, found this website, and that was the final confirmation. Red flag #5.
Glad I didn't send even an invoice from PayPal. Too strange, too fishy, not a good situation for me or anyone else. Be very careful people!!
I posted an ad on craigslist for an ipod 4s . I have it listed for $300 , he is actually texting me now offering me $525. He says he is from louisiana and and wants to ship the money quickly through paypal.

Offered more then what I asked and wanted to mail it some where. Georgia states. Toni brown the name I was giving. Also wanted me to set up a Paypal account. Well there is western union. No go, still wanted a Paypal account.
