Called every morning for a week around 8:00 am - and then when I called back to ask what the call was concerning - they said "Concerning your mom" (for whom I have a power of attorney) but "We are not allowed to tell you why we were calling you." So I asked to be removed from their list, and they said 'We will register that immediately" - So it tells me that this is simply a more sophisticated sales campaign targeting abuse of elderly or shut-in victims.
