You are so correct about the identity, and they constantly phone, often hanging up, or with the wrong name on the one occasion they left a voicemail! I have already written United Health Care, demanding they stop calling, and warned them if they continue to send me e-mails, that I would investigate whether or not they are in violation of the HIPPA Laws, by posting my private health care information on the Internet....especially after I sent them a registered letter of complaint, and this threat of pursuing a law suit, and if there is a good probability that I have a case, or even a beginning of a class action lawsuit!
These calls are from a call center where the low paying employees only make money per phone call log of numbers attempted, by the call center employee! A very intrusive and disturbing phenomenon. It needs to stop, or be stopped by those of us fed up with this behavior. It's not like they truly care about what's best for us - only for UHC!
When I answered the call, I was asked to confirm my name as mentioned.. I heard water running in the background and asked who that was, and on receiving no response, I hung up. I felt uneasy about the call, and found out that it was from UNITED HEALTH CARE - this is NOT the manner in which to approach the public!!!
