Terry from IB Benefits looking to speak with my CEO about our benefits, I let her know that he wouldn't be the one to speak with and she got all defensive "well he's the name I was given" ... yeahhhh given by whom? They always say that, and they typically just pull the name from our website and make assumptions. When I tried to ask questions she started getting short with me... it's my job to ask questions and direct calls to the appropriate people, not just whomever they ask for... and she was again, calling for the wrong person. I was even trying to be helpful and direct her to the right person but I don't think that'll happen again, she was rude.
Lucky me, she called me too. First she called and it rang twice and then she hung up. A few minutes later she called again. I hung on her this time after discovering her story here. Then she called again, I answered. She began to rattle off her long winded speech...I told her we were not interested....and she just kept going. I think hit the "DROP" button. Some companies handle telemarketing very well, others, well, no wonder they get hung up on.
