Caller ID: "BIG LAKE MN". Received a call from a guy asking for me by name and saying he was with the department of the veteran affairs and said this is not a sales call. He then asked if (listed address) was my primary property. I said that property was sold. Then he asked for the details of why it was sold. I told him it really wasn't his business. He chuckled and said "okay" sarcastically and then hung up on me as I was explaining to him that he was the one calling me and asking about my personal information. Final Result: Considering this call as a spam call and blocking the phone number.
Sounds like a real person (not a robocaller) that calls you about some [Idle?] vacations offer (probably another covert timeshare sale). Told him that I am not interested in vacation plans or timeshares. Asked him how he qualifies for exemption from the federal Do-Not-Call list and he immediately hung up.
Has called twice a day for the past 3 days, never leaves a message. I finally picked up today, but didn't say anything. After about 2 minutes a human came on the line asking for the Mr., told him hasn't home, may I take a message. "Oh, no this is just a courtesy call". No way was I going to let this guy go. Told him I was tired of their calls 2 times a day, take me off your list (already on the DNC list anyway). He then proceeds to tell me it's about our sewer line. Uh, excuse me we are on city sewer & water, for the past 30 plus years! Get your *%#*^#% records straigh!
