I also got a v-msg from today saying they are Allina business Office and asking me to call them back @ this number. I use Allina and I have a valid medical insurance and I paid copay and bill on time. Not sure if I should call them back. Thanks for the information above, which just saves me a call :)
Says they are the Allina Business Office, but a quick Google search showed they are actually a collection agency called Reliance Recoveries out of Brooklyn Center, MN that Allina uses. Hubby had only one bill that he didn't pay within the first 30 days.. not sure why he was sent to collections already unless there is a bill he missed.
I was already suspicious when the caller ID said unknown name/number and the first time they called they told me to wait for the next representative... ummm, you called me - I'm not holding. They called again today and this time it was a man and wanted hubby to call back the number. Asked if there is someone he is suppose to speak to and "no, whoever answers"... wow... tacky.
I received a message on my cell phone from this number. I don't even belong to or use any Allina clinics or hospitals, not does anyone else in my family. The message they leave does not state who they are trying to contact or what it is regarding. Maybe they should work harder to get their call information correct. This is extremely annoying.
Said they were Allina Business office collecting on a medial bill that was never submitted to insurance. Would not talk to me unless I gave SSN - I refused - then they recited all my personal information to me (mind you they never confirmed my identity). BECAREFUL!

I also got a v-msg today saying they are Alina business Office and for us to call back. When my husband called the number he got a strange man on the other end of the phone. Certainly not an office.
