I don't know who this is but they called and left a message. All they said is hello hello Laura and hung up. Kind of scary because nobody has my phone number
I have been getting calls from this number a couple times a day for the past week, the only time i picked up and asnwered my phone, a lady asked for me by full name and cell number and told me that I was celected by the federal govenrment to recieve $8000+. When I asked why, she didn't answer the question and just repeated what she said. Am I the only one that had this happen?
No you're not that special-it happens to many people.
Scam-the Government does not randomly call people and award them thousands of dollar because they are a good citizen, pays their bills on time, mows their lawn every 5 days or brushes their teeth 3 tines a day. To receive a grant there is a strict process that must be followed. In addition, these clowns will have you pay an acquisition fee (maybe $250.00 or so). So they get your money and you get taken to the cleaners. There is no free lunch, no free money and the only free cheese is in the mouse trap. Do not answer unknown calls and do not call them back.
