This number called me today and asked for me (by maiden name), and wouldn't continue call until I confirmed. Then was actually asking for a family member (not living in my household, nor ever has); stating they are trying to reach that person and wanted to know if I could relay that message to that person since they couldn't get a hold of that person directly. The claim was that important student loan information was available to them and they are eligble for some benefit...ugh if you left messages already, then I think for something so important maybe the individual actually would of called the company back. it was just weird, annoying, and unwelcomed I knew i shouldn't of answered that call shheesh!
Caller ID said "private caller". Picked up phone, no one was there. Not sure what to make of it. Suspect, from other messages, either a debt collector or a scam. Same/Same. Both are equally unwelcome.
