Claiming to be some recruiter hiring on behalf of some insurance company that's looking for sales staff. I recently became unemployed and since updating my resume on one of the job sites, I'm getting all sorts of "job" offers from similar "recruiters" via email. A Google Search on the name on the caller ID pulled up a similar number (same area code and prefix) here on 800 Notes and one on the phone number doesn't link back to any sort of corporate recruiter. Definitely smells of a scam like some of the emails I've received from similar "recruiters".

After I updated my resune on Monster yesterday, I just recieved a call from this number. A female left a message stating that she was calling about an open position in their Duluth office. Why not state the name of the company you are calling from? I will not be returning the call.
A lady named Ashley called me and left a message. Sounded like she said she was with Banker's Life and her Manager Eric said I filled all the qualifications and wanted me to get back with them. I called back and it was a recording of another female so I left a message and no call back.
I don't know what to make of it.
9 out of 10 calls on land line are crap. I never answer unless I know the caller. this # called me twice in a week. have never had a resume online. they never leave a message. it's spam or an annoying wrong number. Good luck on job searches, other people!!
