Omg I didn't catch this as a scam until after made the deposit. But as soon I found out it was a scam I called my bank and tried to put a stop to the deposit and going to file police report. This message is word for word how the process happened. But I thought nothing of the potential for scam since I actual we into a bank to verify if the check was real or not. And it came fedex.

Just got off the phone with the national communications manager for Solvay who verified this is a scam. Number used this time to initiate the communication came via text from 305-306-5210. This is exactly as Solvay (Rhodia) Scammer! reports, to the letter. Please contact the LEGITIMATE manager by visiting this webpage http://www.solvay.us/en/contact/index.html as he would like the information to pass to his legal department and the local police. He also recommends you file a police report and urges you to NOT provide any banking information NOR cash any checks as this is why they're contact you, they are draining bank accounts.
