John(the worlds most annoying IDIOT) calls 3 or 4 times a day Told them did not order and not to call again. He said I would be taken off list. Guess what, phone called again 3o minutes later. IDIOTS, IDIOTS and first class scammers
"John" calls me and several other seniors about "shipping information" to deliver an emergency alert system. Because the number is Atlanta area code 770, I answered the call and told him I did not order this item. He insists that "someone already paid for it", so he needs info to get it to me. I told him no and hung up. He continues to call every few days on different numbers leaving messages on my voice mail. If you dial the number on caller id , it is not even in service, obviously a scam. Directed to seniors to fool us about a possible "freebee". He is an older gentleman, I guess we seniors are suppose to trust his voice. Just another unsolicited telemarketer or even an attempt to get personal info for identity theft. Do not respond to "JOHN"!
"John" calling several times a week to my mother saying she has ordered a medical alert device from Safe Alert and they need an address to ship the product. She has told him repeatedly that she has not ordered any such device and not to call her back. She is also on the Do Not Call List which has not stopped this type of activity. When doing a reverse look up for the number, it doesn't exist. the number showing up on her caller ID is 770-462-0459.
We've been getting this same recorded message for a number of weeks and it's obvious that they're spoofing the number, as the number I received these same messages from last week used a "770" area code, but the prefix was not a valid prefix (059). Blocking the number does absolutely nothing since the number they're actually calling from has not been blocked and the supposed number is blocked.
They left a message today and the script they use is written in a way that some people may be lead to believe that someone has bought this system for them and that it was recommended by their doctor or the hospital they use. They say what they say so that it appears they are using a loophole in the DNC regulations even though nobody has actually contacted them or given them consent to call them.
They have been calling my home phone for weeks, and at least once a day this week. Actually had two different people tell me they're trying to "schedule the delivery of the emergency medical system" I ordered. NOT! This is a scam, pure and simple. I told them each time to take me off their call list and that I am registered with the NO call registry but they just keep calling. I never let them get their whole spiel out but I will the next time and then I'll send it to the government for litigation.
Didn't answer as it was an unfamiliar number but the caller ID says "Villa Rica, G A" on the caller ID (which is the postal address we are in). No message
