John(the worlds most annoying IDIOT) calls 3 or 4 times a day Told them did not order and not to call again. He said I would be taken off list. Guess what, phone called again 3o minutes later. IDIOTS, IDIOTS and first class scammers
THIS NUMBER HAS CALLED MY HOUSE NUMEROUS TIMES AND I HAVE JUST HUNG UP THE PHONE. THE SPILL IS ABOUT SOME FREE EQUIPMENT REGARDING HEALTH NEEDS THAT IS BEING SHIPPED . SOUNDS LIKE IT IS DIRECTED TO THE ELDERLY..WHEN I CALL THE NUMBER BACK, IT RINGS BUT THE OPERATOR SAYS YOU HAVE REACHED A NUMBER THAT HAS BEEN DISCONNECTED. HOW DO I STOP THIS INTRUSION ??????
I have reported this number to every complaint list that I can locate but they are switching up and using various numbers. ID in previous cases showed MITAC Digital and I looked up and tried to call one of their company's officers. That number listed on their business website is not a valid number to reach a person either. This caller started right after my husband had been in the hospital so I contacted the hospital to ask if someone had given out his personal information which is a violation of the health policy. She investigated and called me back to say that she could find no information that they had a connection with MITAC Digital and in fact, could not find MITAC on her medical database. AT&T blocked the original number they called from but they are now using alternate numbers which are not on the list at AT&T.
An aggressive sounding male has called several times from this number, saying my medical equipment is ready for delivery. I tell him I have not ordered any medical equipment and he insists it is authentic and recommended by various persons. Lately I have been hanging up before he fully gets into his message. I have asked him to quit calling me, but I still get a call every week or two.
Was there actually a live person calling you? Most of these "Medic Alert" calls are a sophisticated recording but you don't get a live person to speak with unless you press "1". About the only way to get these calls to stop is to waste as much of their time as possible. Keep pressing for the name of whomever ordered and paid for the system. Make fun of the clown in their "Order Department" who accepted an order without getting the name of the purchaser (how was it actually paid for?) or a shipping address. Tell them you don't want it and they should refund the money to the person who ordered it. Make up a bogus but plausible sounding address in an adjacent town or neighborhood to ship the item to. Pretend to be hard of hearing and misunderstand everything he says. Whatever you do, do not give out any real information about yourself.
