This company hung up on me twice when I asked them for their physical address so must be a scam. They accused me of not paying off a payday loan I have paid off already. They didn't want to hear what I had to say and just continued to hang up on me. They finally gave me their fax number so I could send them paid in full paperwork and I couldn't even get a fax to go through. Report them to the FTC, BBB, and your Attorney General. I get weekly calls from companies like this for some reason, and they are never legit and go to ridiculous means to try and get money out of you and their methods are always illegal so they need to be turned in and dealt with.

I have received these calls for the last two days. Now saying they are pressing CRIMINAL CHARGES against me. This bill was paid 3 years ago. When I started asking them questions they got even nastier with me, said Sheriff would be at my door any minute now. Told them "bring it on" They are scammers.
They call daily asking for different people each time. When you get their automated message the call tells you the conversation is being recorded. They say from Dept of Fraud Investigations but are retained by Morrison & Associates out of Denver CO but the phone number is from Georgia.The person answered the phone with his person name. If you are answering a business phone and an honest company/person you answer with the business name etc. Retarded I swear. The person stumbled over 90% of his own words during our conversation, told me what I knew and what I didn't know. Told me what I was doing as if he knew. If you're going to scam people at least hire intelligent enough individuals who can make it past saying their own name. Recently bought a new car, most any information he had is public record if a company pays enough money to get the info. Whatever.
I agree this number is a being used for various scams. They are calling direct bank lines which is how I received the call. Wrong name used for my direct line which is a dead give away that it is not legitimate. I have fun with these when I call back since I know the debt collection regulations they try to quote me.
