What I don't understand is why the AG doesn't go after them for criminal acts then. If they can't use the CFPB to regulate an attorney's law practice, they most certainly can use Title 18 USC to prosecute for conspiracy to commit wire fraud, harassment and extortion. When an attorney becomes a willing participant in a conspiracy his actions as an attorney end and his actions as a co-conspirator start. Tell that to the Georgia Supreme Court. "We have no intention of regulating Mr. Hanna's law practice, but we have every intention of prosecuting his criminal acts."
This number continues call even after being told to stop. They identify themselves as if a personal acquaintance and get rude and abusive and threatening when asked to identify themselves.
I called as a first time caller, asking for an explanation of the terms in which they were garnishing my account. The lady (Michelle Fane) laughed in my face. Aside from her being extrememly rude and disrepectful, when repeatedly asking her for possible options, she hung up on me. I then called back and was transferred around several times before I finally spoke to someone who did explain to me all the information I needed, but was still extremely rude and nonchalant. These people have to be stopped. This being my first run in with creditors I was very intimidated, but whe she burst out laughing at my honest question, that really pissed me off and belittled me.
These people never leave messages, had no idea who they were until this morning...when I told them I wouldn't give them personal information until I knew who they were, they said they didn't have to tell me anything. So, I looked them up...what in the world???
This is the 2nd time within several months they've called. 1st time they called, it turns out that i just happen to have the same exact name. They called again today and i didn't bother picking up.
its really stupid that these people keep on calling when i have no debt to begin AND my credit is fine.
this is my 2nd post. show up on caller id as unknown caller with no number. I didn't know who it was until some guy left a message. I didn't bother answering nor am I calling back since no one in my family is in debt or behind in any type of payments.
