I received the same message others have reported, asking me to call this number (although the call came from another number). And they contacted my cell phone. Which our electric company does NOT have.
A female caller had the audacity to leave a message on my cell phone, calling herself "Mrs. Wilson" (what a JOKE), telling me she has "a copy of my electricity statement" and I should call her back ASAP to get a "credit" on my electric supply charges. HAAAAAAhaha! "Wilson" also supplied a "reference number", supposedly of mine. Just for laughs, I called the number back - and a male answered (perhaps he was "Mr.Wilson", haha), - and wouldn't you know, he did NOT answer the call by stating the real name of my electric company. I promptly hung up. No surprise there. Scam, scam, scam. This "Wilson" is probably a computer-generated voice. Bunch of DOPES.
