Received a call from this number and said they were some Energy Saving Company and was easy to tell it was a scam. I played along to see how long I could phish these fools. They got upset towards the end when they realized what dummies they had been taken for, swore at me several times and hung up.
Highly entertaining.
No id shown on caller id - just 'Sturbridge MA'. It was robo call that left an incomplete voicemail message asking me to press 2 to speak to someone about a special offer 'through' Eversource energy. I found it suspect since there is so much activity/ smoke and mirrors going on w/ energy cos these days and hard to tell if another company was looking to assume role of provider through Eversource. I just ignored it.
The ways of the world are now such that distrust is my default position, sadly.
We got a call from this number today at 7:18 pmn. The caller ID was STURBRIDGE MA. My wife answered, and it was a robocall. The number will be added to our call blocker.
Recorded message started with "This is a courtesy call to inform you that you are entitled to a discount on your Eversource bill." (didn't mention whether it was my electric or gas bill - and given the ability that Eversource has to communicate with me through monthly bill inserts, I doubt that they'd be spending time and money on phone calls to inform customers of discount opportunities)
