Got a text from this number. The sentence structure is all wrong. Has to be a foreigner. I was offering a reward for stolen property. He offered to send me a check for my stuff, plus an extra $50 for me, and put it in my account. ha! yeah right. scammer.
I just got a text from this number. His name was "Richard". I am trying to sell something on the internet, he replied saying he lives in my area but works over seas, he will pay the full price via check, and send an extra 100 with it to confirm it is his, but i must send the 100 back after cashing it. All he needs is some personal info, so I googled the number, brought me here and a few other places. Screen shot the page, sent it to him, and he hasn't replied since. So thank you for making your post!
This person wants to send me a check and add an extra 100 to hold it. Says he's working out of town. All text, will not call. This is the fourth time in three weeks someone has tried this !
