Same guy called me. I asked for name and address. Called back multiple times after he hung up on me because I said it was a scam. He gave the name lafeyette Barrell. He then only answered the phone threatening me and my kids. I called the state's attorney and reported. They are very aware of this scam. Please nobody send money to these low lifes. I've called from different numbers and they refuse to give me the address and hands u on me after he hears my voice. He has threaten to come and take everything I own.... Even threatened to take my kids. These people need stopped.
Called for brother who does not live in my state. Used the name of "Mr. Bradfield " left case# and ext. Stated "you have no idea what is about to happen under your ss# today at County Court house"
Received a call, but I didn't answer. the message they left said that they are desperately trying to contact me and they referred to me by my maiden name which I haven't used in 20 years. The man didn't provide a name but he did provide a call back number 774 462 0899 and ext. # and a case #. he said I only had until 7pm to call. it's been a couple of days since then so...
Woman called stating that either myself or my attorney should call her by the end of the day as there is a case against me that I'm likely "not aware of" yet. It's either a scam, collections or a bit of both.
I just received a voicemail from a male who told me that there is a case #1203322 being filed against me. He said I probably have no idea what is about to take place against me but I need to return his call by 3pm today. He also said he has been desperately trying to reach me this morning (this is my first and only call). He used my maiden name and called me from a Massachusetts number stating that he was filing with the local district courts. I live in Colorado.
I received the call on my cell phone this morning. The message was the same as the others - pending lawsuit that I probably didn't know about. I called back and he told me who he was trying to reach (some name I never heard of). I told him I didn't know that person and that I had this phone number for years. "Okay, I will take your number off of our list." That was it.
