Received the same call. Anthony white on caller ID. I told my husband not to worry, its a scam. IRS would never leave a message telling you they are going to sue. You would get a letter via US postal service. How do I know? Common Sense.
Got same call as above. Told him my tax preparer was an enrolled agent and former IRS fraud investigator. Who told me that the IRS NEVER contacts by phone as a first means of contact. Also you would think in India they could find ONE DAMM PERSON who can speak ENGLISH!! Lord know we have plenty of Indian speakers here in the US!!
Got the same call he left a message since I don't pick up for names/numbers I don't recognize. He left one message about IRS investigation against me. Since I'm all paid off with the IRS I know its a scam. The name of the caller Anthony White.
This same Indian man Michael Davis called my daughter and left message today claiming irs was sueing her for back taxes $500 and that he will send someone to pick up money tomorrow, I called him back and told him Its a scam and will report him and he hang up
