I received the same call noted below by Megan and Jane. It is a scam and he said the exact same thing to me. He hung up after asking if her could hear me ok, to which I said yes and am now kicking myself.
Got a call from this number from
Leduc saying he is from Canadian Forces Police blah blah blah... i interrupted him saying i have no time for this scam and i hang up...
Just had the exact same call as Jane. I think there's someone listening and clicking on which prerecorded message to play next since he started a sentence and it quickly cut off in the middle of a word to play a different sentence.
I told him I'm a broke student and have no money to give but that I'd inform my friends. After saying this, there was a long pause and so I hung up.
