Called asking for monetary donations over the phone for the Canadian Police Force to allow them to go to schools to provide safety talk to students about drugs and social media. It's a scam.
Hi, i recieved call from same number and exact same script was used as mentioned by Jane, it was about fentlyne drugs and bullying at school that childrens get awareness of, they proposed three level of donations $300, $200 & $100, when i told them I can donate it through your website, the lady was reluctant to give website address as well as was inisisting on me to give her my full name and postal address, to which I think she can pull up all other information or hack into my accounts. this is definitely scam
Very pushy like other people have said. Upset me enough that I entered his phone number into google and found myself on this site. I asked him as well who are you with and he said cpa.
I knew something wasn't right but he keeps interrupting you when you try to tell him you don't have the money.
If this company has been hired by the cpa the cpa needs to reevaluate who they are working with.
They literally have a company who tries to bully you into a campaign about stopping bullying. Very ironic
Ever since I set up my new number at beginning of August they have been calling me from Leduc, I have not answered yet but I will next time to see what they have to say. I'll like to see them scam me. But it's funny that the "Canadian police association" has a donation section on their website if they were looking for donations, not only that they also list only an Ontario number at their contact number. If they call anyone else just say okay whatever I will donate on your website or maybe mess with them a little bit if it's an actual person not a recording. Everyone should be aware of these sad excuses of scams, if it's not the "CPA" or will be the "CRA" calling wanting Walmart gift cards from you. Good luck.
