Nice try "m"
as you can see folks, the scamsters making these calls check this site out too, to see if they can trick you into calling. What do they want???..... An active number, info, a vulnerable person or senior citizen.....So don't answer and don't call back and certainly don't take the advice of "m" here who is probably one of them.
The really great thing is that everything that you do online can be traced. Everything....Your ip number is logged and could be court ordered, read the fine print on any site you use. With the high volume of scam calls changes should be demanded and hopefully will be in the future. When the fcc or anyone ever tries to enforce these illegal callers, scam artists from breaking the law....."m" here shouldn't be too hard to find. You are not "m" and you are never anonymous and that makes me so happy. You dummy.
Just got a call from this number. Since I have blocked it before, it went straight to voicemail. The voicemail is the same as usual, of a security system. There is another number they call through, so I suggest blocking both and all. I'm getting tired of it and no I will not call back to be put in the "Do not call" list.. that's a lie, a gimmick to know that its a working number and so forth.
Received the call from them today. Got the automated a friend or family member referred me to receive this free super duper security system. So i pressed 1. I asked the lady that picked up which of my friends or family referred me? She said "You have no friends and your family is all dead" then hung up on me.... So i guess this means i will not be getting my free security system.
I just started getting these calls from out of state as well, but didn't change anything about my phone, service, or number. They prolly use ... what, a digital or robotic dialer. I haven't answered any of them but always check here for reports on the numbers that call me, they're always the same b.s. Need a way to get rid of them esp. for a cell phone.
