July 2017 -- My caller was a man (American accent) giving me a better quote on cleaning my chimney flue (don't have one!) than the one he claimed he had given me 6 months ago. Very persistent and aggressive. Called every day for a couple of weeks but does not leave messages.
Knew my name and address.
A robocall with a woman talking about Sugarbush. a ski resort in a neighboring state that no serious skier would be caught dead at. At the end, she tried make it sound that she was talking to someone and the lines got switched. I got this on voicemail, because I never answer when the cID only shows the city and state, because that's a sure sign that it's a scam. Sugarbush has technical deniability, so I can't legally file a complaint against them, but I'll pass around the word that this is how sleazy they are.
