That's the number for Lo Jack, the vehicle anti-theft system. When it thinks the car it's installed in has been stolen, it calls all the numbers that the car owner put down as contacts when they first bought it. It's a recording, so you have to answer the phone to hear it. Hopefully, no one you know had their car stolen and it was just a mistake.
I keep getting these calls both on my cell and home phone numbers. They also use another similar number (781-251-4700) with a recorded message that my car may have been moved. What I'd like to know is how Lojack got my numbers and also more importantly, I do not have a car so this is utterly ridiculous!!!
im so pissed, the lo jack call me on a regular basis...ITS A [***] SCAM !!!! i had enough of this [***]...I'm reporting it the the Royal Canadian Mounted Police, the FBI, and MA State police....let's see who smiles
