Caller id said Dedham MA. Just before 9 pm. Not sure why, but I picked it up and a human (so many calls are voice-activated robots) who said hello a few times. I responded and a young-sounding man said he was Alex from the Pro-Life Foundation...I asked why he would call so late and he hung up. I tried calling what appears to be a hacked number back and it did not connect--no message saying it was not a working number, nothing, not even a ring tone. I don't understand why people call do no call numbers, get a human and then don't bother to engage in a conversation. He was so fervent and sounded so zealous about his topic and then nothing. It was a bit unsettling that strangers can call anyone at any time and impose their agendas. Back to not picking up any calls other than ones from people I know.
