Idiot caller John Sparks has a supposed legal case against an employee here. Calls have come in over the last couple of years but just recently there have been more. John is definitely Indian/middle eastern and threatens arrest and that even the employer and me as manager is on the hook and could be arrested because the employee used employer as a reference. I told him to never call back and that he was an idiot. He said his company, DFF or Detection For Financial Fraud is in MA and the phone number is 781-922-4188
I got pretty much the exact same call you did, except he said his name is "Roy Croft" , at least I think that's what he said...hard to tell with the thick accent. It's totally a scam
Getting multiple calls from this number. I never answer, but always have messages left. They are always the same message. A man with a very heavy Middle eastern accent says his name is "Roy Croft" and he is with DFF investigation dept. Says that there is a legal complaint against my SSN and the issue at hand is extremely time sensitive.
