I got a call from this number, too. She did sound Indian, you know, from India. I told her to get a new job. But of course it was a
recording. The caller ID also said Florida.
Broken English, robotic sounding with foreign accent. Just tells me I need to call but doesn't say why. Says if I don't call I better retain an attorney because I'm going to end up in a legal meds. Good grief!
I received this same call just a few minutes ago from, like others have noted, a female with an Indian accent. I was just barely able to understand what she was saying, but I did hear a threat that if I "delayed in returning their call, that I should be ready with an attorney or legal council." The message did not say for whom this call was intended. Calls like this irritate me to no end because I know of naive, little grannies that get scared and fall for scams like these. I wish there was a way to go after these thieves!
