So, it's gonna be one of those days...not even 9:30 AM and already received 2 new calls from unknown scammers. I called this one back and got the message to "please stay on the line to be connected to the next available agent". Really, this is why I truly believe the DNC registry is worthless. I realize that these are nothing more than scamming criminals, and the only way to get any peace and quiet is to purchase a call blocking device, but why even bother registering on the DNC list??

I called back and it is final expense (burial insurance) sales call. Figure it is a scam since reputable businesses don't call those on DNC - just political, charitable, collections and scammers do that.
