Received a BLANK text message from this number, all the "reverse number sites" want your CC to charge you to sign up for service which I don't want. Wondering what this is.... (PERIOD!!!!) lol

The reason this site doesn't ask for a "CC" is because we all share information here. Obviously, we have no information on this number yet. And a single incident such as yours from a single number could well be just a "fat finger" error.
Since text messages usually come from cell phones, and there is no such thing as a cell phone telephone directory, even the "reverse number sites" are unlikely to have the owner of this number available for you, unless it is used in a public record or on the Internet for another reason (e.g., a tax record or a Facebook contact number). You could just try a Google search for the telephone number.

Hanukkah was on Thanksgiving and has long since ended. Saying just "Merry Christmas" this year will probably make your Jewish friends respect you more for caring enough to know that.
