Same thing happens to me, and the number they use is Social Services, you would think they were the Social Security Office. How convenient. I am on do not call list, and it doesn't help, they call at least three times and day, and as early as 8:00 am.
Keep getting calls from this number. I answered once and it gave a "**** is not in. If you care to leave a message do so after the tone". The number is now on my blocked list.
The call I received today was from a woman claiming to be calling from my grandmother's insurance. She said it was about Medicare Part B and knew what insurance company my grandmother had. She asked if I had POA and explained that meant power of attorney. She sounded legit, except for the foreign accent and the fact that my grandma's insurance doesn't call her.

Caller ID says "My Advocate" and they ask for my adult son by name. I asked if there was a message. They say they will call another time. Caller is male with African or Caribbean accent.
